2nd avenue & Franklin Avenue 12-07-10  Tour #1

Firefighters on Tuesday night extinguished a house fire that displaced seven people, said police.

Around 10:04 p.m., police received calls about a fire at a single-family home on Second Avenue, according to Detective Sgt. Jeff Pilone.

The fire started in the kitchen and spread to the roof and exterior of the house, said Pilone.

The American Red Cross was called in to help the five adults and two children who resided there, according to Pilone.
